We’ve opened our second office in Exeter, we’ve launched our brand new website, our system updates and improvements are continuing on a weekly basis and our client base is growing each week. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Operations Manager to join the company and grow their own team from scratch.

The person:

You will have been managing the admin functions of a multi branch estate agency, ideally with 5 years plus experience in estate agency administration.

You may have started as an administrator … then became a negotiator … then perhaps a branch manager ideally.

You will understand all the day to day workings of an estate agency and, specifically, the step by step processes of:

– applicant registration
– letter preparation
– matching
– property detail preparation
– property marketing
– database management

We are looking for someone with experience in managing other administrators; this is an exciting opportunity to grow your own team during a rapid period of growth for the company and therefore experience in the recruitment process is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of implementing new processes and, whilst no technical knowledge is required, we are looking for someone with a good understanding of technology and up to date processes (familiar with things such as Dropbox, the Cloud, Google mail etc)

You will NOT need any “techie” knowledge whatsoever, just an excellent working knowledge of Estate Agency processes and be very comfortable using all common computer programs and the internet.

The role:

Based in lovely offices in the middle of Exeter your areas of responsibility will be:

– setting up new customers
– training customers
– ongoing customer service and support

and, in time, you will need to grow a team for each of these areas.

Initially there may be some overlap with an office management role however we envisage that the Customer Services Manager and Office Manager roles will split into two separate positions within 6 months.

The current employee in this role is moving into full time product development so a full handover with ongoing training and support will be provided for as long as needed.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to grow into a more senior role with the full backup and support of a well established and friendly team.
